They like me! They really like me!

Wow...I come back to my blog, and what do I see?! Two of my uber-kewl bloggin' buddies nominated ME for blogging awards!

The Gal Herself presented me with this:

How kewl is that??! I luv that she thinks I have a "positive influence"! I suppose it would be redundant to nominate her, altho she would be on my short list, because her posts are a regular read of mine, and they make me smile. However, since she already has this one...my seven choices are:

~Shelly @ This Eclectic Life : she tells some great stories, plus she's sponsoring the "Share a Square" project for kids with cancer....it doesn't get much nicer than that! (you can still help with this, too, if you want to be nice! Just go check out her site; click the "share a square" banner on my sidebar...or go here)

~Nancy @ Soliloquy : Nancy host the Only the Good site that I participate in every week. This whole concept just thrills me - BE NICE - and that, my friends, is why I think she deserves to be recognized for how nice she is!

~Becky @ FullFigured Fashionista: I 'know' Becky from a few different message boards I belong to, and have been conversing with her for a number of years now - plenty of time to recognize how very nice she is - and now I have an opportunity to let her know that I think so.

~Kat @ Chatty KitKatty: another gal I've 'known' for a few years and of whom I think is very deserving of this award. Kat's level-headed, intelligent, and her sarcastic wit never fails to make me smile...she's very nice, and I'm happy to be able to honor her, here.

~Laura @ Dog's Eye View: I love her positive outlook - I love her pics (she is a fabulous photographer) and I love her Golden Labs, Willow & Stella! - Plus, she taught me how to add a drop-down box to my sidebar, so I *know* she's nice!!

~Inanna @ At the End of Desire: I just luv her posts; she writes some amazing poetry and I find her thoughtful and thought-provoking, and....well, nice.

~Maggie @ Maggie Reads: I came across her blog when she began hosting the Southern Author Reading Challenge; she posts some great book reviews and her posts just sound like she was smilin' when she wrote it - I think that's nice.

there are actually five Writer's Reviews Blogger Awards and I would like to hand out a few, myself:

~The Gal Herself gets this one, 'cause the description fits! ("For those who answer blog comments, emails, and make their visitors feel at home on their blogs. For the people who take others feelings into consideration before speaking out and who are kind and courteous.")I always feel like we're chattin' with a cuppa coffee in hand when I read her posts.

~Pagan Sojourn is my nominee for this one; I started reading her blog for the beautiful pictures, but its her insightful words that keep me going back.

~ "For those who use blogging to help others and to raise awareness of those in need" I'd like to present this one to Danielle at Modern Musings because she really *is* "working toward a better world through information and action, and remembering to lighten up and have fun."
