Thursday Thirteen (Lessons Learned)

Okay, since we're already here doin' memes, and we're all in an introspective kind'a mood, how 'bout we make this week's theme;

Thirteen Truisms I've found along my highway of life: Disclaimer: Not all truths are created equal. These are mine. Get your own! 1. Its never too late to live Happily Ever After. 2. It takes two people to quarrel, and the one in the wrong, usually, is the one doing the most talking. 3.The most wasted of days is one without laughter. ~e.e.cummings 4. If my dogs don't like someone, its generally true that I probably won't either. 5. There's a big difference in "wanting" something and "needing" it; The richest people aren't those who have the most, but those who need the least. 6. I like smooth peanut butter better than crunchy; I find its easier to spread on the bread. 7. You probably wouldn't worry about what people think of you if you could know how seldom they do. ~Olin Miller 8. Not everyone you love will love the same books - or books in general, neccessarily. (*gasp* I know! But, its a fact.) 9. I would rather be poor in a cottage full of books than a king without the desire to read. ~Thomas Babington Macauley 10. I don't believe a person can have only one "true love"; I think you can certainly be in love many times in your lifetime...possibly, at the same time. 11. Everything takes longer than the time you have allotted for it; plan accordingly. 12. There is something to be learned from everyone you encounter; don't dismiss someone simply because they may not be 'like' you (too old/too young, too rich/too poor) 13. Life is what we make it.
